Clean and sober

Just saying no to (tendonitis) drugs  — it is the way to go now. Time to get back to work, but first – a regroup and craft room tidy ooop. Found a bit of cushion trim cord to use to replace the leather cord on my rucksack which broke in London last week

and cut the lining and tabs from those charity shop curtains

so I could wash the embroidered curtains in really hot water. I got to work taking apart this white beaded bodice from Next:

I have this thought about a corset/waist cincher sort of deal for this old bodice, which I wore with a ballgown skirt and long gloves for some Fancy Dan thing we had to go to in London years ago. Didn’t want to over-do it on my first drug-free day so I stopped unpicking here and finished off a color ink cartridge in the old printer by printing off some of the refashion files I’ve saved from my internet research.

Baby steps.
